It has been eight months of being unemployed, quarantined and living in a country with social unrest. Most people are mentally exhausted. I know I am. But there is something about purpose that has kept me focused and uplifted during this strange time.
According to google, the definition of purpose is: the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
During the past eight months, I have discovered one important thing: When you walk in your purpose, there will be doors opened and windows cracked and unimaginable blessings waiting for you. But it requires that you let go. And I learned that not because I wanted too but because I felt anxiety when I tried to hold on to things such as a "traditional job" or my ways of handling my love life. It was that "something wasn't right" feeling that made me take a chance on myself and start living and loving without any limits.
So while the world waits to see who our next president will be, please don't let that distract you from your real purpose. And if you don't know what that real purpose is, now is the time to find out because we're gonna have plenty of quarantine time in the future.
In the meantime, take a look at below previews of REVOLT: Black Joy Still Exists, It Always Will. It is sure to inspire and share Black Joy, Black Love and Black Excellence, which is my real purpose.
