Jennifer N. Shannon

About the Author

Jennifer N. Shannon was born and raised in the small town of Cheraw, SC. Upon graduating from HS, she attended the University of South Carolina which is where an overwhelming desire to write was nourished.

“I remember Whoopi Goldberg saying in Sister Act 2, ‘if when you wake up in the morning all you want to do is sing, then you supposed to be a singer.’ In college, words, thoughts, and ideas woke me up or made it so I couldn’t go to sleep at night unless I put those feelings on paper. That’s when I knew I was supposed to write.”

Jennifer received her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism in 2001 and soon after began writing Silent Teardrops.

Silent Teardrops proved to be a huge success among family, friends and other fans who had never heard of Jennifer or knew of her passion to write. With a few years to refocus and mature, Jennifer has written another book, entitled For the Love, Short Stories and Poems, Vol. 1.

For the Love…is unique and explores Jennifer’s new desire of expression and sharing. She is back and ready to take For the Love… and Silent Teardrops to the top.

I bonded with something within her…

Still Single? Why? – Finale

Many people have the misconception that if they have certain things then they’re the best thing since sliced bread, when in fact many of these same good people: are disrespectful, abusive, selfish, unloving, insecure, lack family values, judgmental, cheat, inflexible, not compassionate, and the list goes on and on…
